Olson Photography · Rockford, Illinois

About

David and Adrienne Olson have photographed families, seniors, businesses and wildlife from their Rockford, Illinois studio for over 25 years.

The Studio

Olson Photography is a husband and wife studio on East State Street in Rockford. David and Adrienne have run it as a full-service practice for more than twenty-five years, which in this business means you are photographed by the people who own the place.

Both hold college degrees and both shoot. The work covers business headshots and corporate portraits, high school seniors, families, newborns and children, weddings, events and team sports, alongside a wildlife archive built across North America and Canada. That wildlife work has appeared in National Geographic and National Geographic Traveler, Chicago Magazine, Alaska Magazine, Allure Fashion and Northwest Quarterly.

The approach has not changed in all that time. Customers are treated like family, a session is meant to be enjoyable rather than endured, and nobody leaves with pictures they are not happy with. A good portrait starts with the person in front of the camera feeling comfortable, and that is the part most worth getting right.

Sessions and order pick-ups are by appointment, because the photography regularly takes us out of the studio and across the region.
